The raw votes tallies for 2017 Vodafone Ghana Music awards have been released by Charterhouse, the organisation behind the annual awards scheme.
The voting totals, in percentages, show the breakdown of the voting as carried out by the public.
The tallies released so far is for the night’s topmost award, Artiste of the Year award, which was won by Joe Mettle.
According to the tallies, Mettle got 51.22% of the public votes, followed by Sarkodie with 26.56%.

Stonebwoy and E.L followed with 13.33% and 4.97% respectively, with the bottom two being Medikal, who got 3.70%, and Mzvee, with 0.22%.
KPMG supervises the public voting for the awards scheme, with the public’s votes amounting to 40% of an artist’s total. The VGMA Academy and the VGMA Board hold 30% sway each in determining the final winner.
