Medikal has released a new song “Poof Gang” full of puns and rhymes describing himself in the rap game and one thing catchy is some lines that indirectly seems like a jab to 2017 VGMAs Best Rapper of the year M.anifest.
The song which has swear words throughout also stated that “I only fight for rice and put it on beef” and as the song goes on Medikal then says “Them still dey compare me to rappers wey compete on songs” and this is where GhanaCelebrities.com‘s beef buzz sounded an alarm of shades.
As it is obvious, M.anifest, Sarkodie and FlowKing Stone are notable rappers who competed against each other on songs like godMC , Kanta and Fire Bon Dem. Medikal was in this Best Rappers Category of the just ended VGMAs for which truly he was compared to these rap folks.
Above all, what makes the shades directed to M.anifest is that, in the video where exactly Medikal raps “Them still dey compare me to rappers wey compete on songs” a bearded guy shows up which can be considered as the imagery of the godMC.

Before you watch the video again to confirm that, also take notice of these lyrics from Medikal’s “Poof Gang”
“This news no bring you any paper… So daily throw away the graphic … cuz the traffic no go fit contain me” These are lines Gh Hip Hop heads can realize it’s related to M.anifest’s “No Short Cut To Heaven” where M.anifest also used same diction and rhyme when he said ” They call it daily graphic cause it’s graphic on a daily”
Is ‘Medikal the idol who is always on a pan like Frytol’ frying some beef with M.anifest?
Watch “Poof Gang” video again and let’s discuss as the Gh rap culture and lyricism is getting hotter.
