The thirteen members of the NPP affiliated vigilante group the Delta Force, who were grabbed out of court Thursday by other members of their recalcitrant group, have turned themselves in to police.
The 13 ‘court break’ members surrendered to the Police and are currently being held in custody, the Ashanti Regional Police Command has announced.
They were earlier arrested for causing mayhem at the office of the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council and appeared in court yesterday, but then other members of the group stormed the Kumasi High court and forcibly grabbed their comrades.
The situation was one of chaos as they vandalised property and nearly assaulted the trial judge.

Their actions were universally condemned by the public, with calls for government to crack down the whip on such unlawful groups.
The Regional Police Command also revealed 8 other members of the group who were involved in storming the court, have been arrested.
