Irate fans of Kumasi Asante Kotoko stormed the club’s training grounds Thursday to prevent head coach Zdravko Logarusic from holding the team’s daily training session.
Kotoko lost to SC Medeama in the Ghana Premier League Wednesday, the team’s second loss in three games, and that has infuriated its passionate fan base.
A group of said pissed off fans led by a pair of heavily built men stormed the team’s training grounds and physically prevented the coach from leading the team in training.
Starrsportsgh.com reports that they locked the entrance to the training grounds to prevent Logarusic from being able to access the grounds.

“I’m pleading with the fans to exercise patience because confronting the coach is not the antidote, we accept things are not good but we will make amends,” team captain Amos Frimpong reportedly told the assembled press about the incident.
Efforts to calm the angry fans proved futile, thus leading to the team being recalled to the team bus without having taking part in their training session.
