The newly appointed boss of the Ghana Standards Authority, Dr. Addai-Mensah Otchere, has resigned his post after just a week in charge.
Dr Otchere was appointed by the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, on March 27 2017 – but his tenure has already come to an end following pressure from NPP activists.
Dr Otchere reportedly made critical claims of the NPP during their time in opposition, which angered some elements within the party. Thus his appointment was fought against by said elements.
