Otumfuo Warns Nana Addo To Heed To His Counsel Or He’ll Regret It Like Mahama Has

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has warned the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, to heed to his counsel or risk being booted out of power and later regretting it.

The President paid a courtesy call on the overlord of the Ashanti Kingdom, who offered him his sage words of counsel.

“I had conversations with the former presidents and they admitted they should have listened to my counsel.” Otumfuo said.

He said every former President regretted ignoring his counsel, and Mahama in particular came to him after losing to say he paid dearly for that.

“Rawlings and Kufuor were all here; I spoke with Prof. Mills ten days before his death and he said the same thing. Shortly after his term ended, President Mahama was here and he mentioned he ignored a number of things I counselled him for which he has paid dearly for,” Otumfuo added.
