VIDEO: Best WASSCE Student In West Africa Applied For Medicine At KNUST But Was Rejected

Pius Kyere made headlines last year when it was announced that the St James Seminary Senior High School student had been adjudged the best student in West Africa after results for the West African Secondary School Certificate Exams (WASSCE) was released.

Kyere was awarded for his brilliance with items including cash, electronics and a scholarship, and he has remained out of the public eye since.

Kulpeeps.com recently caught up with Kyere and he’s now studying optometery at the University of Ghana. That’s because he applied for medicine but somewhat amazingly, failed to qualify.
