GhOne Tv’s news editor Nana Aba Anamoah has recently announced the establishment of a foundation aimed at dealing with improving reading among children aged between 6 and 13.
The ‘Raising Readers Ghana’ foundation is the brainchild of the eloquent presenter, who’s built a reputation for being notoriously pedantic about how the English language is utilised.
Nana Aba has already drawn some impressive sponsors on-board including Tigo Ghana, EIB Network, and ZoomLion – but one other person has added his own level of support to the initiative.
Ghana’s one and only king of dancehall, Shatta Wale, has donated some exercise books to the cause.
“@shattawalenima donated several exercise books ahead of the launch of Raising Readers on April 7. Join us at Bukom. #RaisingreadersGh is in partnership with Tigo Shelter for Education” Nana Aba wrote on social media acknowledging the donation.
The ‘Raising Readers Ghana’ initiative is set to be officially launched April 7 at the Bukom Park in Accra.
