Mzbel recently admitted to her bleaching past after being mocked by Diamond for bleaching, revealing it was something she started as a teen in Jamestown where it was fashionable for every up and coming young girl.

Mzbel has made further revelations about her bleaching experience in an interview she granted on Starr Fm earlier today (Thursday).

Mzbel revealed to Morning Starr host Francis Abban that she cannot stop bleaching now because every time she tries her skin develops horrible side effects, so she has to spend about Ghc 1,000 every three weeks on bleaching cream.

“Attempts to stop bleaching has been very difficult as the side effects are so clear when I make the attempt…I am able to afford the cream because I have a job that pays well.” she said.

“I regret ever bleaching. I wish I never did bleach. I wish I had someone advising me,”

Mzbel added that’s why advising the youth against bleaching is a big part of the work her foundation does, especially in Jamestown.

“Whenever I have the opportunity to go to Jamestown to do charity work, we talk about teenage pregnancy, and skin bleaching and I always use myself as an example.” the mother of one added.
