T.B Joshua claiming responsibility for a tragedy is a constant in this world, much like there being a tragedy somewhere in this world.

The Nigerian conman usually says a lot of things during his sermons and if it would take 20 years for something vaguely similar to what he said to happen somewhere in the world, you’ll be sure he’ll be around to claim credit for it.

Joshua’s claim to being an infallible prophet of God has just a few flaws – he failed to see his own church was going to collapse and kill people due to his own negligence, and he also quite spectacularly predicted the 45th President of the United States would be a woman.

But anyway, let’s ignore all that and pretend he still has some credibility left.

Joshua’s Emmanuel TV is claiming he prophesied the recent terror attack on London. In a video shared to their YouTube page, it shows a clip of Joshua from June last year in which he claimed an attack would occur on the UK and its institutions unless they pray.

Joshua was speaking in the aftermath of the death of the British MP Jo Cox, so it makes sense he ‘prophesied’ such an ‘attack’. It’s obviously inevitable that given enough time, such an attack would occur – so we’ll be more impressed if he can put a deadline on his prophecies.

Having said all this, of course my countrymen would eat his bullsh*t up – we live for pastors showing their ‘krachi’ powers so we can be validated in our thinking that our imaginary God is real.
