La Dadekotopon MP, Vincent Odotei Sowah, has announced he’s resigning his position as Chief Executive Officer of Accra Hearts of Oak.
Odotei Sowah has been in the Hearts job for a while, but now has to leave due to his new duties as a legislator, he told the press after Sunday’s controversial win over Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

“I’ve decided to let go my position as the head but I’m not leaving the club, I’m just changing my role because operationally I will not be able to combine it with other things but I will still hold my position in the management board, and continue to work behind the scene,” Odotei Sowah said.
A former CEO of Kumasi King Faisal, Sowah beat three term incumbent Nii Amasah Namoale of the NDC to win the Dadekotopon seat in December’s polls. It was only the second time in the Fourth Republic that the NPP had won the Dadekotopon seat.
