Somehow, a group of University of Ghana and the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology students got into a fracas which left three injured – on the campus of the University of Cape Coast.
The students, from Commonwealth Hall and Unity Hall of the two universities respectively, had been invited for a program at the host university’s Atlantic Hall when they got into an argument.
The argument turned deadly and some students got stabbed, according to myjoyonline.
One of the victims, the site reported, is a UCC student returning from night studies who got caught up in the fight. He’s reportedly paralysed due to the stab wounds.
Properties worth thousands of cedis were also destroyed in the fight, including the Oguaa Hall bus and some vehicles belonging to some lecturers.
