Shatta Wale Just Made A Sharp U-Turn On Obour And His Fans Can’t Think Far

Shatta Wale

Towards the end of last year, a group of music stars started hounding MUSIGA President Obour for his poor performance whilst in office.

Shatta Wale was the most vocal of those critics, swearing war on him on social media and calling for an uprising to kick him out.

Obour has been facing such opposition all his tenure, with several musicians unhappy with how MUSIGA’s funds are spent.

So more than a few SM4LYfers were shocked when their brash boss who never backs down from a challenge, Shatta Wale, called for support for Obour on social media Thursday.

“Guys’ I think it’s about time we all get on board to support Obour this last 2 years of his administration. I personally criticized him but I believe together we can achieve what he alone can’t achieve. Join Musiga today.” Together in Rhythm.” Shatta wrote on his social media handles.

The unexpected show of support for someone he’s always criticised got his fans upset.

Fan fooler, jux playing tactics with the youth brain.” one bemused follower commented on the post.

Another betrayed fan wrote: “Shatta wale we tired of you ok? All the time you make be third person , we criticize against obour for his bad works as you as said before. And what you telling us ? Is really ashamed to spit and take it back , same thing happen between you and VGMA, samini, and why now? Any anyone who try to mess up with you, we will mess up with that person too, but is like all the you turn your back on u”

The response was even more vitriolic on his twitter handle – with most fans unable to handle the news.

With tweets like “Obour is big gold digger in our music industry” and “Obour can’t be my musigha president, period!”  sent out by Shatta last year, it’s understandable why some fans cannot wrap their heads around this sudden u-turn.

So what is Shatta up to here?
