Warner Bros Studios are working on a reboot of the iconic, late 90’s and early 00’s movie trilogy ‘The Matrix’.
Neo and his cohorts lit up screens the world over as they battled the machines in an epic trilogy of movies that has been one of the most genre defining of all time.
And we might get to watch yet another installment.
Sources at the studio tells the Hollywood Reporter that they are in early developmental stages of a relaunch of the series.
It’s not yet clear what form the new movie would take, but it’s thought Michael B. Jordan could be tapped to be the lead actor, replacing Keanu Reeves.
Zak Penn has been tapped to pen the new installment, whilst it’s highly likely the original directors, the Wachowski brothers, would be roped in to direct.
