Founder of Glorious Word Ministry, Rev Owusu Bempah, in reacting to these allegations revealed to host of Abusua Nkommo, Kwame Adinkrah that Nana Addo is far from blame for the recent suicides but rather occultism in schools are responsible for these deaths.

“People should leave Akufo Addo alone, he has nothing to do with the cases of suicide in the country,” he said.

Owusu Bempah also revealed that “A lot of these young ones are practising occultism in their schools and they never anticipate when an evil spirit will possess them and lure them into committing suicide…by the time they realise, they might have ended their lives”.

Etvghana.com further reported that the outspoken Man of God also mentioned unwanted pregnancy as a reason why probably most of the suicide cases involve girls as he was quoted for saying “one other factor we have to take a critical look at is the parenthood…there are some women contemplate suicide, abortion and all sorts of evil ideas all because they have regrets over the pregnancy they carry and so you have the evil spirit taking control over the destiny of the unborn child only to haunt the baby in future.”
