Today, March 13, 2017, marks exactly three years after the murder of Fennec Okyere, the then manager of Kwaw Kese. at his residence in Spintex.

The death of Okyere, a high profile member of the showbiz industry, made huge headline news back in 2014 when it occurred – yet three years down the road his killers still roam scot free.

The Ghana Police Service have seemingly done little to solve this case, despite it’s high profile nature and numerous calls by a distraught Kwaw Kese and Okyere’s family for the perpetrators to be brought to justice.

Their incompetence on the issue bothered the star to the extent that he once called on Anas Aremeyaw Anas to take up the case and bring justice to Fennec!

Now, it’s not like the Police have a spotless track record on everything else, but how hard did they even try in this case?

This is the issue of a public figure, with the entire country waiting for a resolution, but they immensely failed.

Which should raise the question – how many people suffer numerous crimes in this country who never get justice due to the bumbling service that’s supposed to protect us?

Three years down the road, the family of Fennec and Kwaw Kese continue to deal with this grief without any justice to be had.

Our condolences go out to them on this painful day, and as it’s marked, let’s all make a renewed call for the authorities to solve this case and put our doubts to rest.
