To mark International Women’s Day, Okay Africa has released a list of 100 influential African women, with as many as 10 Ghanaian women making the cut!
The list included women such as singer Jojo Abot, director Amma Asante and author Yaa Gyasi.
Others include Bozoma Saint-John, Philomena Kwao, Karen Attiah, Nadia Rose, Michaela Coel and Farida Bedwei. Most are expatriates but with Ghanaian roots.
Other women on the list includes Lupita Nyong’O, Caster Semanya, Chimamanda and many others. Full list here..
