Tragedy struck at the newly constructed Kwame Nkrumah Interchange late Wednesday as a cargo vehicle fell off the flyover and partially landed onto a loading 207 passenger bus.

The trailer vehicle was climbing the interchange when it lost its balance and fell, with the loading passenger vehicle bearing some brunt of the fall.

Some people were injured as the result of the fall, Starrfmonline reported, and had to be rushed to nearby hospitals.
