The managerial role for the Ghana Senior National Football Team has been vacant following Avram’s departure after the team’s poor performance at the recent AFCONS. The next best fit to fill that position has raised a number of debates so far which GFA seeks demystify with this new 6 Member Committee obliged to find the Black Stars a new coach.
GFA announced the formation of the committee with its members to be spearheaded by Kwesi Nyantakyi via an official press statement. The Statement indicated that the committee can use a headhunting approach or review the applications for the job to select the new coach. By headhunting approach, it means the committee can hand pick any personality they deem fit for the job who hasn’t applied for it.

Other five members of the committee are George Afriyie – chairman of the Black Stars management committee – Francis Oti Akenteng -Technical Director of the GFA, Opoku Nti – former Black Stars player and member of the Executive Committee – , Alex Asante – Director of International Competitions – and a representative from the Ministry of Youth & Sports.
