The mockery is being thrown at the self proclaimed ‘dancehall king’, Shatta Wale, from all angles – honestly it looks a little like everyone enjoying the misery of a dethroned king.

Kind of like how Barcelona ruled world football at a point for so long, every time they lost it was more than a party for all the ‘against’ fans.

In that vein, this Yaa Pono beef really shows Shatta Wale how dominant he has been in the zeitgeist for so long.

Prodigal of VVIP has not been too happy with Shatta in recent years, after the pair locked horns over last year’s annual Nima Sallahfest. Thus, like many others, Prodigal is enjoying the fall from grace of Shatta Wale.

Yaa Pono’s ‘Gbee Naabu’ diss has universally been declared as the final blow in Shatta Wale’s coffin and thus, everyone is preparing his funeral. Taking to social media, Prodigal also makes fun of the dancehall king, saying the Nima youth have no intention of receiving his corpse for burial in Nima.

“We’ve heard that Yaa Pono has murdered Shatta Wase and they want to bring his dead body to Nima.” Prodigal, surrounded by a mini crowd says in the video.

“I’m the spokesperson for Nima ghetto youth and we say we don’t want Shatta Wale’s dead body here. Let them send it to Korle Gonno”

For the moment Shatta is down in the dumps and he really needs a comeback stronger than that docile ‘One Man Killer’.
