Dancehall act Jupitar, who according to Mark Okraku Mantey is the only real dancehall star in the country, has sought to quash rumours of a possible beef between himself and Shatta Wale.
Okraku Mantey’s comments on Jupitar, which came after he also dissed Shatta as a fake dancehall artist, put the young star right in the midst of the pair’s no holds barred feud.
Jupitar, in his first public comments on the issue, seemed to agree with Okraku Mantey’s view of things.

That led many to think he believed Shatta was not a true dancehall artist like Okraku said, but Jupitar has come out to squash such talk.
According to him, Shatta is a veteran in the game, a great man who should be applauded for all he has done.
“I will call Shata Wale a veteran in this game. He went for a decade and he came back big time. I think he is a great man.” Jupitar said.
“I give him all the due respect. I think what Shatta said I think was out of anger. I call him Dada because he started before I did. He wasn’t meaning anything negative. We are cool…” he said.
