The former NPP MP for Akwatia, Kofi Asare, has reportedly passed away after being involved in a car accident.
Dr Asare passed away Tuesday night after being involved in an accident on the Nkawkaw-Kumasi highway, reports indicate.
A family source confirmed the news to Starr News early Wednesday.
Dr Asare was NPP MP for Akwatia from 2008, after winning the seat in highly contested polls.
