The stories of Ghanaian ‘sakawa boys’ are more entertaining than anything Hollywood ever dreams up.

The latest story involves one who recounted on Vision One his journey to the pits of ritualism and the search for quick money, which he has now left behind after being saved by the ‘Grace of God’.

The young man, whose name was not released, said he was introduced to the practice whilst in school, at the ripe age of 15. Coming from a poor family, he decided to try it out.

He said the mallam asked him to sacrifice his mum, as well as sleep with 30 virgins every Friday to keep the cash flowing in.
