Asamoah Gyan Scores On Return To Action For Al Ahli After Shaving ‘Unethical’ Hairstyle

Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan scored on his return to the United Arab Emirates as he turned out for his club side Al Ahli in a league game.

Gyan scored as his side beat Hatta 3-0, netting mere minutes after coming on as a substitute.

The Black Stars striker was playing his first game for his club after returning from the Cup of African Nations, where Ghana finished a disappointing 4th.

He was noticeably sporting a new haircut, different from the flashy mohawk he sported during the African Cup on Nations.

‘unethical hairstyle’

Gyan had been cited for having ‘unethical’ hair by the United Arab Emirates Football Association, one of 40 players hit with the violation.

It seems he is adhering to the rules on haircuts now that he is back in the country.
