Madtime Entertainment act Kwaw Kese has opened up on the trials and tribulations he underwent in the year 2014 which he believes made him the ‘strongest musician in Africa’.
Kwaw Kese, speaking with KMJ on Daybreak Hitz, said the troubles of that year – getting divorced, losing his manager Fennec, and getting imprisoned – taught him valuable lessons which has certainly made him stronger.
“With all these happening to me in a year and I still kept on doing me. I consider myself to be the strongest musician in Africa because it’s not easy and I thank God for that because we’ve heard of other people’s stories and they couldn’t continue,’’ He said.

Kwaw Kese added that he is an entirely new being due to those experiences and thus that is reflected in him taking more responsibility these days.
This is evident in his philanthropic works which he started doing more of after his incarceration – including spending Valentine’s Day for each of the past few years with the less disadvantaged.
