The biggest moment of the 2017 Grammy Awards Sunday night was when Adele, on stage to accept her plaque for winning ‘Album of the Year’, turned down the award for not deserving it.
The British recording artist dedicated the award to Beyonce, noting that ‘Lemonade’ was a far better album than her own ’25’.
“I can’t possibly accept this award,” Adele said.
“The Lemonade album was just so monumental, Beyoncé. It was so monumental and well thought-out and beautiful and soul-bearing… we appreciate that. All of us artists here adore you. You are our light.”

She then proceeded to break the award in two to hand over a part to Beyonce, shocking everyone present.
Adele later said backstage: “I thought it was her year. What the f*ck does she have to do to win Album of the Year?” she wondered.
