July 6th this year will mark 3 years since Castro went jet-skiing and vanished. It seems his best friend Asamoah Gyan, who went on the getaway with him at Aqua Safari in Ada before the incident occurred, cannot get over him getting missing though we see Gyan seemingly happy playing football and dancing after he scores.
Asamoah in an interview on Nana Aba Anamoah’s new Tv show “Cheers“ reveals how the situation has broken down his music career.

According to the Ghana skipper, he has lost entire interest in hitting the studio again in the pursuit to record another Baby Jet banger for the girls. The least or most he does is to join his music band to sing to entertain people and that rarely happens.
He said ” Since I lost him, since he got missing – let me put it this way, since he got missing, I didn’t try to go to the studio and then do any music at all, like I lost interest in being an artiste ”

The Black Stars Captain, who is likely on a damage control mission for the National Team, has strongly lamented that politics is destroying the team. He said “Some politicians try to make the National Team fail, so they can find their ways. They try to bring everybody’s attention to the Black Stars that we get a lot of money and then don’t serve the nation, we are not patriotic and stuff and it misleads the country”.

Gyan added that people should STOP pretending they don’t support them because when the team gets beaten Ghanaians get hurt, “so why don’t you support us hundred percent?”
