Rapper Nicki Minaj just surpassed Taylor Swift as the second most charted woman on the Billboard Hot 100, after her feature on Major Lazar’s ‘Run Up’ debuted on the chart.
That sent Nicki to a career total of 71 songs hitting the Billboard chart, taking her past Swift whose total is 70.
Both women remain behind the all time most charted woman, Artha Franklin, with 73 songs of hers reaching the Hot 100 throughout her legendary career.

Nicki Minaj recognised the milestone with a post on Instagram, delighted to have passed Swift.
But with the rate at which both women are going, there’s no doubt they would both pass Franklin soon and then, battle it out for that top spot for years to come.
