The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has appointed former Yagaba Kubori MP Mustapha Usif as the new head of the National Service Scheme.
Mustapha started work Monday, 06th February, running the scheme which administers the one year compulsory national service for university graduates.
The new head replaces the Mahama appointee Michael Kpessah White.
“Pursuant to section 15 (1) of the Ghana National Service Scheme Act, 1980 (Act 426), I hereby appoint you to act as the Executive Director of the scheme, pending receipt of the constitutionally required advice of the National Service Board, given in consultation with the Public Services Commission,” read his appointment letter from the President, sighted by the Ghana News Agency.
