A group of Nigerians living in the UK have massed up outside the country’s High Commission protesting the decision of the President to extend his stay abroad for medical purposes.

Buhari left Nigeria for the UK last month for treatment and was supposed to return Sunday, yet he wrote to Parliament informing them of the need to extend his stay to complete medical check-ups.

The news has left Nigerians back home uneasy as rumours had spread of Buhari’s death/extreme ill health.

Thus, Nigerian citizens in the UK have massed up outside the High Commission, demanding to be personally addressed by the President.

So far they have received no response to their requests.
