Accra Hearts of Oak have been named the most influential Ghanaian club on social media.

The Ghana Social Media Report placed the two time African Champions at the top of the pile, ahead of arch rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko with Dreams FC coming in third.

Hearts have the highest number of social media followers across the surveyed social media sites and engages their fans the most. Currently, Hearts remains the only Ghana Premier League Team with a verified account on twitter.

Rivals Asante Kotoko comes after Hearts, followed by Dreams FC, Inter Allies and Medeama SC.

The Ghana Social Media Ranking is gathered in the Ghana Social Media Report, which is conducted by Avance Media, CliQAfrica and Dream Ambassadors Foundation GH.
