Reggie and Bollie have launched their own record label, F.R.O.D Music, following their split with Simon Cowell’s Syco record label.
The pair announced Tuesday that they were leaving the label, adding that it felt ‘f*cking good’ to go Independent.
Reports later indicated Simon let them go rather than they jumping ship, but however the break up went down, they are already prepared to handle their own business going forward.
With Mark Darlington appointed head of communications and strategy at F.R.O.D, the duo says they are ready to take Africa and the world by storm.
“We have fans all over the world who keep calling for more shows and concerts so we have to put ourselves in a ‘fearless’ position to make the fans happy as well as manage our talents and careers so we can give the fans more” Darlington said on their new direction.
Reggie and Bollie rose to fame in the UK after finishing second on X-Factor, which earned them a deal with Syco. But the pair were subsequently dropped, for what a label employee said was their inability to transform their popularity into sales.
