Actor Wayoosi has thrown his name into the mix for the Deputy Minister for Creative Arts race, saying he can do the job as well as anyone.
The diminutive actor was speaking on Hello Fm when he passed the comments.
He said the intense lobbying going on for the position was unseemly, and he believed he, or Kwadwo Nkansah ‘LilWin’ could do the job if given the chance.
“People should stop rushing for the deputy ministerial position. We’re all Ghanaians and we are also in the profession. We can efficiently work hard there. Myself and Lilwin can do efficient job. It’s not about speaking big English.” he is reported to have said.
Many people in the entertainment industry have been putting themselves forward for the job of Deputy Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, including Socrate Safo, Kojo Antwi and many others. Seems we have two new contenders on the list.
