52-year-old vociferous, bitter tongue bashing MP for Ablekuma West constituency and women’s rights activist, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful has positively been affected by Nana Addo’s promised change.

The Lawyer facing the vetting committee of parliament today as designated Minister for Communications has totally surprised everyone who knows how uncensored she is on political platforms.

The rather calm and very articulate Ursula Owusu did not hesitate to point out to the committee that, she is a transformed woman under the Nana Addo administration.

She said

“I think every individual must be able to adjust to situations depending on where you find yourself. But I think I deserve some commendation because for some time now you have been seeing the new Ursula and you will continue to see a transformed Ursula as we move ahead”.

The mother of one also explained that she took a course at the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre, which has hastened her transformation.

She also added that;

“In being passionate about what we believe in, we need to know where to draw the line, we overdo it sometimes. In the heat of battle, we tend to respond to bullets fired at us with our own fire but I think the public should be made see that even though we are political opponents, we are not enemies. It’s incumbent on all of us to reduce the political heat, even in the heat of battle”.
