Ghanaian musician-Sarkodie has been blasted by fans to the extent that he has even come out to explain himself after he posted a photo of a child in need, begging his fans for 15000 GHS for the child.

Sarkodie in his music claims money no “be problem” and considering the amount he posted as needed by the child, his fans thought he could have just paid the money from his own pocket–leading many to call him stingy.

That’s the problem with most celebrities–they take from the ordinary people and hardly give back, rather, they will spend unimaginable amounts of money on material things which they brag about.

An angry fan wrote: ‘you take about 150,000 GHS for a show and I take 200 GHS a month. Why not help in silence?”

Another said: “Sark this be small for u so pay next time if the big one comes then we all contribute. If u can’t pay too let me know #hardworkpays.”

Following the backlash, Sarkodie wrote a long piece, explaining why he came to his fans to begging for 15000 GHS to help the child in need.
