“Money no be problem” – Sarkodie has been shouting this for so long that these days whatever he does, people look at it through the lens of money.

In the past few days Sarkodie has been trending for offering ‘exposure’ to people who would work with him on an upcoming project instead of money, something that led to a ton of people criticising him for not being willing to open his wallet despite his riches.

That issue barely died down when another arose, after Sarkodie shared the story of a little girl who had reportedly drank caustic soda and needing Ghc 15,000 for surgery.

The post asked people to donate to a certain number, and that brought people out wondering why a loaded star like Sarkodie could not foot the bill himself.

Some said the money was even less than his charge for a show and wondered why he could not just pay out of the goodness of his heart and not even publicise it.

The condemnations got so bad that Sarkodie had to respond to it.
