Sarkodie has been the subject of public discussion for much of the past day or two, after he called for some people to work with him on a new video ‘pro bono’.
Sark promised these ‘avant garde hipsters and creative artists’, as he described them, no money but a lot of exposure from working with one of the top acts in the country.
That has sparked a huge debate over the benefits of exposure versus money – and some Ghanains have already expressed their immense displeasure with Sarkodie’s ‘stinginess’ on social media.
If the controversy is bothering the ‘Illumaniti’ hitmaker, he’s barely showing it. Instead, he’s rather enjoying all the input he’s getting from the people ready to work on his project for the ‘exposure’.
According to a tweet he sent out Wednesday, everything is going smoothly.
“Loving the models and fashion design I’m seeing …. We gon make history with the new visuals ?
?
?
?
?” he posted.
This seems to indicate that those involved are not worried at all about the ‘exposure’ and are willing to take part in the project.
