The 4X100 gold medal the Jamiacan relay team won in Beijing in 2008 has been stripped after one of the teammates tested positive for banned substance.
Nesta Carter, one of four team Jamaica sprinters in the 4X100 relay race has been found to have used a banned substance following retesting of samples taken from the 2008 games.
Carter, Michael Frater, Asafa Powell and Bolt ran and won that race in the then world record time of 37.10 seconds, but would now be stripped of the medals.
Trinidad and Tobago, who placed second, would receive the gold medals now, whilst Japan and Brazil would get silver and bronze respectively.
Bolt’s record shattering ‘triple-triple- feat now vanishes from the record books, but the legendary feats of the ‘superhuman’ Bolt lives on.
