D Cryme Responds To Okyeame Kwame’s Diaper Comment

Okyeame Kwame has rightfully earned the title “Rap Dacta” and we are not even about to argue on this. We have had people not sharing in this whole idea. It has been a topic that has garnered diverse controversies but that not withstanding, the “small small” crooner continues to boast of this very title and we think it is just appropriate.

Late last week, Okyeame passed some comments when he was on Dryve of Your Life with YFM’s JOEL Orleans.

The subject of who really was the “rap dacta” since other artistes are conferring same title on themselves came up and Okyeame Kwame responded to it.

Asked if Dr Cryme is deserving of the title, he said:

“Dr Cryme is probably twenty years younger than I am and when I was calling myself Rap Doctor, he was probably still in diapers. So let’s just say I’m the oldest doctor. But we all know D Cryme is a very good artist who can rap and sing. I’m still waiting for that day when he will become huge because he has a lot of potential.”

Now Cryme has responded to the diapers bit and thankfully we are safe from another internet feud.

According to the Sakora hitmaker, he took Okyeame’s comment on a lighter note.

“I feel he was taken out of context because if you heard the tape, you will realize he said it jokingly.

“I did not take it high, we are both brilliant artists looking for ways to put Ghana music out there.

“He was not hitting at me, he said it as a joke. Tweeted at me and I saw that. I respect Okyeame Kwame a lot,”

He disclosed on all these on Happy FM‘s drive time show ‘Ayekoo’.
