Gospel artist Cwesi Oteng is furious with Communications Director for CharterHouse, George Quaye, for some remarks he made concerning gospel artists in the country.
Quaye, whose organisation CharterHouse organises the annual Music Awards scheme, had claimed on a program that gospel artists even pay bribes more than other genres to get a nomination on the show.
But in a reply on twitter, Oteng calls the remarks ‘stupid talk’ – saying George Quaye should back up his statements with evidence.
He also called for a boycott of the award scheme by gospel artists.

Stupid talk. Who offered. https://t.co/LLNwYLN4bL

If awards are not for sale no one will go there with money to buy. So let’s know the buyers.
