Senior minister designate Yaw Osafo Marfo has indicated that those last minute hires carried out by the former administration would be fired once the current government hits the ground running.
The former NDC government are accused of staffing many state institutions with NDC faithful in the final days of its rule, hires that opponents claim are politically motivated rather than based on merit.
During his vetting by Parliament’s Appointments Committee, Osarfo Marfo said any appointments made after December 7 would probably be laid off by the new government.
