Muntari training with Pescara
Former Black Stars midfielder Sulley Ali Muntari is nearing a switch back to the Italian Serie A with Pescara as he’s commenced training with the side.
Muntari trained with Coach Massimo Oddo and his side on Wednesday as he awaits international clearance for a deal with the club to go through.
Sulley last played for Al Ittihad in Saudi Arabia before leaving last summer, and is angling for a return back to the league where he made his name – first with Udinese, then with Inter and Milan.
Pescara are embroiled in a relegation battle and are looking for an experienced hand to steer their midfield and the 32 year old Ghanaian seemingly fits the bill.
