President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has nominated 36 Ministers to man his incoming administration. The announcement of Designated Ministers has gained some traction on social media because of the gargantuan profiles of some of his men.

Some funny “tweeps” even shared that Nana Addo has appointed Doctors and Professors whilst the previous administration appointed “dining hall prefects”
Vetting of these appointees by Parliament before they are inducted into office has been scheduled to commence tomorrow but there seems to be some uncertainty looming as the Minority (NDC) is complaining about the delay in receiving the CVs.

Hon James Klutse Avedzi, Deputy Minority Leader has told Joy Fm that, they are feeling uncomfortable because barely 24hrs to the vetting, they haven’t seen the CVs of the appointees yet.
According to the Ketu North MP, they have to receive the CVs in an advance time, so as they could scrutinise them properly before the vetting.
