Elikem Kumordzie, the only Ghanaian to have reached the finals of Mnet’s TV reality show Big Brother Africa says though the NDC has been booted out of power, Ghanaians and colleagues in the industry should be grateful for the party’s inputs to the Arts fraternity.
The fashion designer, popularly called ‘Elikem The Tailor’ in an interview with Joy News said, “the creative arts industry profited so much from the past government so it’s not like it is now Nana Akuffo Addo wants to do something with that ministry…”
Elikem is one of the staunch celebrities who endorsed the NDC during the 2016 elections.

“If they didn’t do anything at all, at least they formed the ministry and we benefitted, gained and profited so much even to the point where we felt needed and important now in the country,” he added.
The Ministry Of Tourism And Creative Arts in the previous administration was headed by Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare and her deputy, Dzifa Gomashie who was almost seen at any entertainment function.
