The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has for the past three days been revealing to Ghanaians the ministerial appointments he expects to be working with, pending Parliamentary approval.
There has been immense furore covering the appointments, especially due to the fact it seems like Nana is creating countless new, and in the minds of people, superfluous ministries – despite running on the mantle of cutting government waste.
At Thursday’s press conference to announce his third batch of picks, the President revealed the newly created ministries would be working out of the Presidency. That brings his total number of substantive ministries to 29.
