The former rector of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Prof. Stephen Adei has opined that president Nana Addo and his government has no excuse to fail Ghanaians.

According to him, Nana is the most experienced person to have ascended the highest seat of the country. Speaking on Starr Chat on Wednesday, he said:

“Akufo-Addo is coming to the position better equipped.

He has been a politician and has occupied top most positions and no one has found him corrupt. He has the potential than any Ghanaian head of state, but whether that potential will translate into reality we shall see.

Mahama is a very nice man, but I had a problem with certain decisions and actions. I don’t hate him. If I have the same issue with Akufo-Addo I will say it.

There was corruption in the system. I like Mahama as a person but I think on the whole he did not do an excellent job.”
