The plagiarism scandal plaguing the early days of the Nana Akufo-Addo presidency does not seem like its going away soon, with the international media also having latched onto it.
Having made the Washington Post, Al Jazeera, the BBC and many others, the scandal has now also hit the late night comedy circuit, where mockery is the order of the day.
South African comedian Trevor Noah, who hosts Comedy Central’s ‘The Daily Show’, took Nana Addo to task over the scandal on his show Monday night.
The comedian did what he does best, which is lampoon and satirise and at the end, Akufo-Addo was not looking pretty.
One thing about Trevor though, he has assimilated a lot of the American/European mentality of mashing the continent together as if it’s one entity instead of a diverse group of people.
