Former Black Stars midfielder Sulley Ali Muntari is close to making a move back to European football with Serie A side Pescara having set their sights on him.
Muntari, now 32, last played for Al-Ittihad, and is on the search for a new club after his contract with them expired.
Pescara are currently embroiled in a bitter relegation struggle and need experience in midfield, which the former Milan, Inter and Udinese midfielder can provide – having spent the majority of his career playing in Italy.
Sky Sports Italia reports Muntari has a proposal from the club which he is currently considering. Pescara is managed by former Milan player Massimo Oddo.
