The ‘rap dacta’, Okyeame Kwame, had a really awesome 2016, notching up accomplishment after accomplishment.

He became the first Ghanaian artist to be entrusted with the keys to an American city when the mayor of Cinncinatti handed him that honour, one of the highlights of a what was a very successful year.

Other accomplishments included numerous award wins and nominations in music and beyond, personal achievements such as earning a masters, groundbreaking achievements outside the country – as well as becoming the first Ghanaian rapper to become verified across the top three social networking sites (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter).
