The BBC’s DJ Rita Ray has named Ghanaian performer Worlasi as one of the top stars on the continent to watch out for in calendar year 2017.

Worlasi made the list of three stars who are currently breaking out on the continent, alongside Guinea’s  MHD and Tanzania’s Vanessa Mdee.

Worlasi has undoubtedly been one of the fastest rising stars on the local scene currently, and has worked with numerous top stars including Sarkodie, Kwaw Kese and veteran music producer Hammer.
